About the Privacy Information Project

The Privacy Information Project (www.privacy-information.org) was founded by Consumer Action as a clearinghouse of information for consumers. The project is envisioned as a way to educate consumers about the importance of personal privacy, and to create an information pipeline for consumers and privacy advocates.
